       KEY PERSONNEL

Mark Augustyn, the project’s founder and de facto leader, originally comes from a restaurant family in Connecticut and has resided in Atlanta, GA since 1996.  After graduating from the University of Connecticut as the 1993 School of Business Valedictorian, he spent his early years working at Geffen Records in Los Angeles and Intersound Records in Atlanta. Eventually, Mark became the owner/CEO of Hatchet Man Presents, a successful street marketing company (Live Nation, Goldenvoice, House of Blues, Adidas, Sony Online, Johnson & Johnson, Jackson Hewitt, Direction, Rival Entertainment, etc ), while also managing the nationally recognized Atlanta venue, Smith’s Olde Bar. He also finds time for cross country motorcycle trips, golf, music, and some good books.  TWO WHEEL dRIVER is a working tribute to his late fiancé, Randee DeMartino who succumbed to cancer on Thanksgiving of 2003.

Chris Tanner, the project’s non-riding partner/operations/everything else go to guy has experience that extends throughout the entertainment business for close to 20 years. This includes full ownership in State of the Artists (merchandising, booking agency, and lifestyle music design) in Atlanta, GA, booking agent at Progressive Global Agency in Nashville, TN and talent buyer/agent for Cellar Door Productions in Washington, DC. During his professional career, he has worked extensively with several companies and individuals in many facets of the entertainment and merchandising industries. Over the years, Chris has been involved in the careers of artists such as: REM, Widespread Panic, Maroon 5, Train, Guster, Edwin McCain, Duncan Sheik, Arrested Development, Marvelous 3, Pat McGee, Michael Tolcher, The Samples, Stuck Mojo, Nothingface and many others. He has also done extensive business with several entertainment companies/events including the following five (5) music cruises: The Rock Boat, Ships and Dip, Mayercraft, Cayamo, Simple Man, in addition to First Tee/Rock For Dough Concert, Weekend of Jazz, On The Bricks concert series (Atlanta, GA), Dancin’ In The District concert series (Nashville, TN), Creative Loafing, Octone Records, BMG, Upfront Records, Monarch Beverage and several others as well.

Bill Stol, a member of the crew, hails from Iowa and has been a resident of Atlanta since the nineties.  A current camera man at WGCL, the Atlanta CBS affiliate, Bill served as primary camera man and editor for the original TWO WHEEL dRIVER pilot. An independent film maker with multiple short films to his credit, Mark and Bill met at Smith’s Olde Bar in the late nineties.  Bill will serve as the primary camera man for the project.

Brad Etheridge, the third member of the crew, is a Nashville native.  An artist with a knack for drawing, Brad assisted with the filming and editing of the original TWO WHEEL dRIVER pilot, and has worked previously with Bill on some short films. As lead bartender at Smith’s Olde Bar in Atlanta, Brad is a mini-celebrity and is known across the city for his wit and pouring skills, and can often be found with Mark on a local golf course.

Wes Burden, the final member of the crew is a Georgia native. The tallest of the crew at 6’ 4”, Wes and Mark also met at Smith’s Olde Bar in Atlanta while working together in the late nineties. The owner of Apex Cycle, a motorcycle repair and restoration shop in north Georgia, Wes is the music loving, tattooed mechanic who, along with providing production assistance, will help to make sure the crew and its KTM motorcycles stay in working order.
